Save a spread-sheet: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl S
Open a spread-sheet: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl O
Close an Excel Workbook: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl W
Start a new Workbook: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl N
Print: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl P to navigate to the Print section
To enter current time in a cell: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl, Shift and ;
To enter todays date into a cell: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl ;
Insert a highlighted column/row: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl +
Delete a highlighted column/row: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl –
Add up a range of cells: In the cell where you would like the answer press the keyboard shortcut Alt =
Create a Chart: Once you have highlighted the data including the headings press F11
Format as a Table: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl L then choose the area and style
Apply Bold: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl B
Apply Underline: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl U
Apply Italics: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl U
Cut data: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl X
Copy data: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl C
Paste data: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl V
Find Command: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl F
Replace Command: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl H
Go To: To open the Go To box to enter a cell reference to navigate to press F5
Undo your last action: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl Z
Redo the last action: Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl Y
